Yo.
Currently doing my - overdue- Art homework. Buuuutttttt got side-tracked, as per usual.
I think I'll attempt to talk about sec 3 camp. Lawl.
Day O.N.E.
First, of course, reached school. Amanda took my dad's car with me. Stopped by the Shell station because I needed to buy 1.5L bottle. And then my dad reminded me I didn't bring my toothpaste, so I had to buy that too. Tsk.
Then reached school, and hung outside the hall for a while 'cause, like, there was no one in the hall yet. Then that Miss Kong ask all of us hanging around outside to go in, and we did. Duh.
Then I forgot what happened. Oh ya, there was the intro of the instructors, then we were off.
3e4 was last to board the bus. Wonder why.
And our bus was crappy can? So bloody uncomfy.
Then we reached there, and we were all so effing happy to cross that seemingly unstable bridge.
Then I found out it was unstable. The damn thing was swinging like a freakin' monkey gone bananas when all of us crossed it. I swear if I hadn't been clinging onto the rope with both my hands, I would've, like, flew off it. Totally awesome, but I would need to put my ginormous haversack and day pack somewhere safe. Wouldn't want it to get wet in the stream.
Anyway, we were bloody happy to cross the bridge la, like, wth.
But but but - ,
That was waaay before we saw the camp food, got screamed at by Mr BirdAss [honestly, doesn't his mouth look like a beak or something?], found out we have to sing the effing school rally before every bloody damn meal, and got treated like military recruits in boot camp.
Like, the ytss pe department teachers should just shut it and do whatever they do best and quit acting big in front of outsiders. So NOT fucking impressive.
And the freakin' female toilet doesn't even have goddamn doors. Like, I was totally going zomfgwtfhbbqqqqqqq when I saw the 6 star toilet. It even reeked of pee.
Come on girls, we don't have to aim to pee.
Then there was the low-elements games. There was like, that human entanglement thing, and that balancing beam thing. I loathe that beam. So bloody embarassing. Shalini said she saw the swimming suit under my shirt when I was climbing over that thing. LAWL.
Then there was that, erm, raft-building team. I was kinda high that time when I volunteered to sail that pathetic raft which I knew was not going to work out.
It was seriously damn fun la. I think it's my fav activity, just cause I got to get a dip in the lake with a life jacket and had to swim with the horrible stitch in my side from laughing too much.
I found out I have the courage to chiong into a lake with a barely intact raft when I was afraid of deep waters.
Coolio.
Then it was dinner already, I think. It was so silent when they tell us to keep still that I thought I went deaf. I mean, we're surrounded by nothing but mountains.
I just have to say that the camp food was edible.
It was showertime. Then tragedy struck.
"OMYFREAKIN'GAWD WHERE'S THE WATER?!"
Yeap.
No water supply.
Brilliant.
And so the girls had to line up at the sinks, dipped their head under the tap and wash their hair there. I wouldn't wanna bathe in that mostly-doorless toilet anyway.
Then went to canteen for debriefing and supper then SLEEP BABY, SLEEP!!
Shared the tent with Sharifah, Seri, ShinYi, Karen and En Mei. Shin Yi laughs scary.
Slept like Kiki.
Day T.W.O.
Washed up, breakfast, yada yada, climbed Mount Panti.
The ascend was crap; kept tripping, and it was supah exhausting.
The descend was worse; kept tripping even more, but was much much much less tiring.
And the shitty and incredibly salty maggi mee I cooked in a rush was, well, incredibly shitty and salty.
The only thing I'm upset about is that 3e4 didn't even get to reach the summit eventhough we're the ones who wait up for our classmates and don't leave them behind, unlike another class who actually reached the summit.
That's injust, I say.
Anyway, the descend was fun. Sharifah, Ravi and I hung around the back of the class as 'sweepers', and I wouldn't stop tripping. I always thought my balance was decent. Or maybe balance and clumsiness are two different things. Hmm.
Reached campsite, had dinner, then went for the very -even by my standards- lame 'Jungle Night Confidence Trek' which sooooooooooo shook the very core of my being.
Not.
Went with Sharifah, started singing old-school nursery songs - in indian accent - the moment we took the first step fromt he starting line. And we held hands and swung it and all. And we were giggling like mad idiots all the way.
Shower shower shower.
I finally took a shower in one of the cubicles with a door. It was disgusting, frankly speaking. I mean, I couldn't see the wall in front of me.
...
Or maybe that was for the better. I wouldn't wanna see what I was stepping on, anyways.
Debrief, supper and SLEEEEEEEEEEP!
Sharifah, Seri and I decided to change our sleeping position, only to find it much more comfy. Lol.
Day T.H.R.E.E.
Totally awesome.
They told us to pack up all our belongings and move to the resort houses.
Though there was like, 8 people ot one room, I was so freakin' grateful.
Was roomed with Shalini, WeiFun, MiaoQi, Pearlin, Felicia, Eugenie and Stella.
Was kinda irritated 'cause the Chinese people kept talking in Chinese. Like, hello? Don't get a single fucking shit whatcha talkin' bout here!
Anywhos.
Day 3 was cool. Had that mud thing. Got reallllllly dirty.
Then there was that Indiana Jones thing. Fell down once. Retarded.
Was fun though.
Then went for the Pelepah Waterfall Expedition.
Had lunch at the scorching hot entrance of the waterfall. Seriously, my food was freaking cooking on the road.
Walked and walked and walked to the waterfall and tada, the barely 1-storey high waterfall.
Was SO totally worth all that shit.
On the way back to campsite, Mr BirdAss forced us to sing the National Pledge. As in, s.i.n.g.
Who does that?
Then washed up and dinner.
Campfire was lame and boring and mortifying.
I guess 3e4's class identity doesn't only shield your face from the sun.
Then it was supper and debrief, and OOOoOOoOo YEAH SLEEEEPPPPPP!!!!!
In the resort room somemore.
But I slept late la, like, 1 am. 'Cause some people had to take a long time in the freakin' shower.
Sheesh.
Slept like a baby.
Day F.O.U.R.
[HOMECOMING, HECK YEAH!!]
Had breakfast at the restaurant. The seats were bloody weird. I thought they were gonna fold inwards when I sat on it.
Cleared up our rooms, did some debrief thingy with Miss Chin, had Prize Presentation, and break camp.
Then...
HOME BABY, HOOOMMMMEEEE!!!
Yeah. Such an adventure.
Went on a tiny shopping spree with Amanda at NorthPoint. Yeap. With our haversack and all.
Anywhos. About today.
Was super sleepy in POA, and some kinda funny shit happened in Maths class. Apparently the cleaner has some issues with Cheng Han because he -supposedly- broke a cubicle door. Waaaay back in sec 1. LAWL.
That woman sure knows how to hold a grudge.
Totally hysterical.
